The mission of the Teen Risk Assessment Program is to reduce health disparities and improve the quality of life of adolescents by providing education and access to care in an inclusive and sensitive manner.
What exactly is the Teen R.A.P. program?
Teens grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually so quickly that it’s sometimes hard to process. That’s why Teen R.A.P. was created. The Teen (R)isk (A)ssessment (P)rogram focuses on the needs and concerns of young people ages 12 to 21. And the best part is that most of our services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL—whether it’s a medical exam, a pregnancy test or an appointment just to chat about any of your concerns.
Who provides the services?
We have a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, health educators, and medical assistants to provide health care, answer questions, or just talk about issues like sex and peer pressure.
Do I have to pay?
All reproductive and sexual health care (condoms, pregnancy testing, STD/HIV testing & treatment, Birth Control, Plan B, GYN exam) is FREE, just make sure to bring a student or state ID.
For non-reproductive health visits such as annual physicals, working papers, vaccinations, etc., bring your Medicaid or private insurance card.
